Japan has maintained detailed family registers since the Meiji era (1868). Each koseki records births, deaths, marriages, addresses, and family relationships — often across 3–5 generations. These records are held by local municipal offices and are only accessible by family members or authorized representatives.
We access these records on your behalf and translate all findings into English.
